End of the season wrap up: Why is a wedding planner important?
A planner is important because there is no way a bride can enjoy her special day and take care of all of the little details….
My favorite wedding this year featured the bride and groom crowd surfing. It made for some great pictures and was the perfect way to finish off the night.

This Fall I began my wedding planning my journey with Pop the Cork Designs. After only one wedding, I completely understood the need for a wedding planner/ day of coordinator.
As a couple, you handle everything up until the day of (and the parents of the bride and groom do too). The planning, the ordering, the DIY-ing, etc…. you handle it all. When the big day finally arrives, it’s so nice to be able to relax and enjoy yourself, without having to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Although wedding planners help prior to the wedding as well, the main necessity is keeping everything going the day of. The wedding planner sees to it that other vendors arrive on time, flower arrangements and props are where they should be, and that overall, the couple and their families are happy!
This Fall, I’ve been able to witness the magic of how a wedding day unfolds, from hair and make up, first looks, to first dances.
There isn’t one specific wedding that stood out to me this season, because they each were so beautiful and unique in their own ways. I already can’t wait for wedding season to start back up this Spring!

After working with Jenna for one full season I could not imagine myself having my own wedding without a wedding planner. Before I even started working with Jenna, I knew that wedding planners were an key aspect to a wedding and that is why I pursued it as my career. Planners take all the major stress off of couple when it comes to figuring out all the nitty gritty details. We are here to help smoothen out the process so we can make the couple’s big day the best day they have ever had. My favorite time of being a planner of course the day of the weddings. Not only because I get to see our beautiful bride say I do, but because I get to do all the behind the scenes work. If something goes wrong with vendors being late or anything (literally anything can happen) I try my hardest with the rest of the team to avoid what could cause a bad situation. Most of the time the couple never notices when an issue arises, and that is my favorite part because then I know we did our job right.
My favorite wedding of the season would have to be the wedding we did this past fall for our PTC bride Megan, who actually also works for wedding wire! Her and her fiance were a dream team to work with and I truly can say their wedding was the most fun I ever did have. Did I mention they ended up crowd surfing by the end of the night?! Their wedding was also taken place in a quiet spot on the eastern shore and the town was just to die for.
